Studying Arts-Based Methods

I had a great opportunity to spend the first three days of this week in Helsinki with ABM-group studying new skills to lead and guide youth groups. Staying with the students and get to know each other better was useful experience. Artist, theatre pedagogy, Ursula Hallas was our excellent teacher who guided us to observe and feel our environment and  motivate ourselves to find out our abilities.

We were trying to reach our limits in some practices. E.g. some of us got good vibrations when we did Chinese style slow motion  walk across the Narinkkatori. The busy people and stressed atmosphere of our metropol was in contrast to our performances. One of the TOP-moment was of source the group lying in the middle of Kamppi-keskus – from the point of view of outside spectator the performance was impressive. Anyway we had a great time and got good memories.
